By accessing or using ScanForge, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ScanForge provides website health scans, WordPress posture checks, vulnerability watch signals, project history, recurring monitoring, and related product features based on publicly reachable website responses and curated advisory data.

The service is a passive scanning and monitoring product. It is not a penetration testing service, a managed security service, a guarantee of compliance, or a guarantee that vulnerabilities or technical issues will always be detected.

You must use ScanForge only for websites and systems that you own, operate, or are expressly authorized to assess. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is lawful and permitted.

You must not use ScanForge to conduct abusive, disruptive, deceptive, unauthorized, or unlawful activity against third-party infrastructure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being used in a way that creates legal, operational, billing, or security risk.

Scan results, security posture findings, and vulnerability watch signals are provided for informational and operational decision support only. They may include false positives, false negatives, incomplete coverage, delayed advisory data, or errors in interpretation.

You remain responsible for validating findings, deciding what to remediate, and determining whether additional professional review is required for your environment.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScanForge is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or complete security coverage.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScanForge and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, contracts, or opportunities arising out of or related to the service.

If liability cannot be excluded, any aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to ScanForge for the service during the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if that amount is higher.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScanForge and its operator from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, your unauthorized scanning activity, or your breach of these Terms.

Paid features are billed through Stripe and may renew automatically until canceled. You are responsible for managing your subscription and payment method through the provided billing flow when available.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not guarantee refunds for partial periods, unused time, or dissatisfaction with findings, coverage, or uptime.

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify product features, pricing, advisory sources, or technical behavior at any time without guaranteeing that any particular feature will remain available.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe your use of the service is unlawful, abusive, risky, or inconsistent with these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its stated effective date unless a later date is specified.
